YOU created US: A Letter To Democrats

YOU created US: A Letter From "The Silent Majority" Dear Democrats, "How did this happen"? You must be in shock. Who is this "silent majority" and where did they come from? Well, we came from you. "Who's to blame for this historic upset"? Well, you are but typical and true to form, you're looking for someone else to blame. You need not look further than your very own mirror. YOU created US. "No we didn't, that's not possible". Oh but it is and here's how: YOU created US when you tampered with our freedom of speech and inserted this PC "watch what you say and how you say it" culture. Words don't kill people, actions do. It's ok to be offended by words but it's not ok to go through life and not know what to do when those words offend you. You've given birth to a culture that doesn't know how to handle emotions because you've stripped society of learning how to deal with hurt feelings and defeat. YOU created US when you attacked our 2nd Amendment rights with every shooting instead of attacking the shooter. (Because we all know how Chicago thugs listen to laws, right?) We need to be able to defend ourselves. If people don't like or don't want a gun, that's their choice. But those of us who do are securing our chance of survival when criminals who can't have guns use them to harm us. (Response time for self defense with a gun beats the response time of calling police and waiting.) YOU created US when you attacked our Christian beliefs. (Forcing us to agree to pay for birth control or bake cakes for gays if our faith dictates it's wrong. Yet gay bakers can deny straight couples? Hypocrites) YOU created US when you label us racists. (Wasn't it your party, The Democrats, who didn't want to give black people freedom or the right to vote? 1868, 14th Amendment granting slaves civil liberties: 100% Republican votes, 0% Democrats voted. Wasn't it you, the Democrats, who created the KKK? But we're the racists. Right. Got it.) YOU created US when you rushed through a federally mandated health insurance then forced us to buy it or pay a fine. We didn't get a say, we didn't get bail outs when we were bankrupt by astronomical premiums and we didn't get to keep what was promised to us. We got lies and empty pockets. (I bet those banks and auto markets enjoyed the bail outs you paid them when you could've used that money to help the uninsured). YOU created US when you started putting illegals and refugees before us. This is OUR country. We aren't against immigration, just illegals and unvetted refugees. (Remember 9/11, San Bernardino, etc?) If these refugees are so innocent and harmless, why don't you sponsor a family to live in your neighborhood, right next door to you? No? Why not? That's what you're doing to us and we have no say about it. If we have to live with them SO DO YOU, next door playing with your kids, shopping at your mall, eating at your restaurants. If you don't feel good about that, why should we? (We all know you don't care about them or us because they are just more votes for you guys.) YOU created US when you decided that immigrants get businesses, welfare and a tax free life handed to them simply for being here while we get taxed to death, lose our jobs and can't feed our families. YOU created US when you put illegals in front of our vets. They get benefits and healthcare while our vets die waiting for a doctor. (Thank God the VA scandal was brought to light.) YOU created US when you give illegals and refugees the same rights that American citizens have. (THEY DONT BELONG HERE UNLESS IT'S LEGAL. NO RIGHTS TO ILLEGALS OR REFUGEES UNLESS THEY ARE CITIZENS - LEGALLY). YOU created US when you sent our jobs overseas to fund other countries who do NOTHING to help us. (Just a hint: you'd get more tax revenue coming in IF THERE WERE JOBS HERE TO WORK.) YOU created US by giving away the sanctity of our flag. You didn't die for that flag. You weren't the ones holding it up at Fort McHenry signaling that we were still fighting the British, still alive and not giving up. We won that war and now our flag is a beacon of freedom and hope. YOU let people burn it like it's garbage. No respect. YOU created US when you decided that children didn't need to be disciplined anymore. Have you seen these unruly, temper tantrums and how they turn out? Whiny, rioting, crying (because there's no trophy), lazy entitled "gimme gimme" generation who's supposed to be our future leaders. Without discipline, there's no hard work, self worth, appreciation or respect. Congratulations. You succeeded in turning our strong, fearless, self respecting, hard-working futures into whiny, need a safe space, "I can't deal with life because my over grown feelings got hurt" crybabies. YOU created US when you attacked our lives and how we live them. For a party who preaches tolerance with the live and let live mantra, you did a bang up job of criticizing and belittling anyone who's different from you. YOU created US when your hypocrisy and greed became more important than this country as a whole. YOU created US when you thought we weren't important because we didn't agree with your progressive ideology. Again, for a group who preaches tolerance, that's a slap in the face. You want us to accept you as you are but you'll only accept us if we conform? Got it. But mostly, YOU created US when you became national bullies: rioting, beating innocent victims, destruction of property, looting, anarchy and burning down our cities at the behest of foreign donors PAYING people to destroy what you claim to love simply because you didn't get your way. You had your chance for 8 years and it hasn't worked. We don't see you cleaning up the mess. We don't see you denouncing the violence. If it was us, you'd raise holy hell but since it's you're side doing it, it's ok. There's that hypocrisy again. Well, we've had enough. Now it's our turn. So when you think about how this happened and who was this "silent majority"? Look no further than you're own reflection. We are the consequence of your actions. YOU created US. If you don't like the fact that we voted Trump into office then maybe you shouldn't have ignored the rest of us like we didn't matter. If our taxes matter then so do our votes. You just got TRUMPED: Time to deal with it.

Open Letter To The GOP

I recently sent out a tweet to the GOP. Here's the tweet: "@GOP You work for us. We want @realDonaldTrump. Listen to us not lobbyists. We will ‪#‎TakeBackOurParty‬ You cant afford to lose us."‬ A little more about this tweet: Trump has started a movement. Record voters have come out. There is a rumbling that finally has a voice that Washington can hear and Washington is scared. Here's the point, if you dont start listening to the people instead of the lobbyists, you will lose us. We want a Republican party we can be proud of, not one you force down our throats that we have to pay for while your pocket buddies get rich. Have you noticed what having a terrible Democrat in office has done to this country? He sold us out and apologized to our enemies, he has BETRAYED the Constitution, not held it up and defended it. He went into Libya without Congressional approval. He incited racial tensions to a whole new level. He has created dangerous tensions for our cops, bankrupted this country even further while letting our military die under Clinton's watch in Benghazi AND SHE LIED ABOUT IT. He supports a treasonous Sec. of State who has blood on her hands while she rakes in the millions. Lets not forget how Obamacare has ruined jobs, families and this economy. He has sanctioned immigration with no regard for the families killed by criminals crossing our borders. He has armed our enemies (Fast & Furious fiasco), sides with Iran - aiding and paying them only to make it easier for them to turn on us. He freed terrorists (against advice and without Congressional approval) then acts shocked when they join terror cells and come for us AGAIN. Speaking of terrorism, the most sickening betrayal Obama has done is with regards to terrorism. He is such a coward. He panders to ISIS when they attack Americans in the work place and REFUSES to call it what it is - TERRORISM. That's what a Democrat has done. Do you really want to fracture the party more because that will just hand the White House to Hillary - Obama's puppet and third term. Why do you think Trump has such a following? Why do you think so many people resonate with his message? It's because he sees what YOU have done to us. You don't know what it's like living paycheck to paycheck. You have forgotten (if you ever even knew at all) what its like to choose between food and electricity. You are career backstabbers and political liars who don't give a damn about the people you work for, the people who elected you. YOU WORK FOR US and you treat us as if we owe you. What do we OWE you? NOTHING!! You OWE us. You owe us a decent chance at a decent life, abilities to take care of our families without worrying what it will cost us. You kiss your kids and spend holidays with them worry free. We are lucky to have the money to have holidays. You've made careers and millions off of us and you wonder why so many people (before Trump) didn't really vote. Trump - He's the reason we are coming out and the reason we are voting. He is our change. He is our hope. He is the face of the New Republican Party - the one who believes in making the GOP great again. Making the party one that cares for the GOP instead of hating you daily. Trump has survived the haters, the media, the protesters, the PACs, the attack ads and YOU. You think we came out in record droves for you? Don't flatter yourself. You've given us NOTHING and NO REASON to trust you. Trump did that and you want to ruin the ONE CHANCE to remake this party into something this country can believe in?? That's a slap in the face to all of us who voted for you. You would risk losing ALL of us for the crookedness and disrespect you've been feeding us for years?? Why should we stay? So how about this: Give us a reason to stay. Trump will not only get our jobs back, but give us our medical, our freedom, our families and our faith. He is a proven stimulator of the economy, a man who can reach across the isle and bring BOTH parties together to make deals and get things changed, back on track. A happy Republican Party that believes in our President (Trump) and stand behind the GOP (instead of against you) is much better than the one you have now. Give us our voice back and listen to us. Your lobbyists dont care about us. We thought you did but we are seeing you don't. You are in collusion with the lobbyists and donors AGAINST what the American people want. We won't forget. You can be removed from office and we will remember this when elections come around. We will be heard. Like it has been stated - Be lucky we are screaming with ballots because last time we stood up to a this kind of establishment, we did so with bullets. We are being very loud and clear about this: WE WANT TRUMP AS THE NOMINEE. Stop trying to send us Rubio with his inside connivance between Romney, Bush and himself. He is NOT our choice. While Cruz has some support, he is the poster child of a typical politician being groomed. Don't let history repeat itself. Don't let history show us YET AGAIN that our votes don't matter. Let history show that for once, you listened to us, The People. Let us finally be able to say we were heard and the New Republican Party is a force to be reckoned with. A force that Hillary AND Bernie won't and can't defeat.

Historical Facts About Racism, The KKK and Who Is Really Behind It All.

It's truly sad how so many haters are coming down on Trump about the KKK but little do they know their history. The media twists things and people just believe it as gospel without doing their research. The Republicans are not to blame. Yes I know, times have changed and so has social views. But did you know Obama AND Hillary Clinton cozy up to Richard Burr - A former KKK member. Why aren't people blowing up over that? Because it doesn't suit their agenda of racial disparity. Before you jump on that hate train, here's the TRUTH about the KKK and who you should really be looking at to lay blame. The following are a few basic historical facts that every American should know: Fact: The Republican Party was founded primarily to oppose slavery, and Republicans eventually abolished slavery. The Democratic Party fought them and tried to maintain and expand slavery. The 13th Amendment, abolishing slavery, passed in 1865 with 100% Republican support but only 23% Democrat support in congress. Why is this indisputable fact so rarely mentioned? PBS documentaries about slavery and the Civil War barely mention it, for example. One can certainly argue that the parties have changed in 150 years (more about that below), but that does not change the historical fact that it was the Democrats who supported slavery and the Republicans who opposed it. And that indisputable fact should not be airbrushed out for fear that it will tarnish the modern Democratic Party. Had the positions of the parties been the opposite, and the Democrats had fought the Republicans to end slavery, the historical party roles would no doubt be repeated incessantly in these documentaries. Funny how that works. Fact: During the Civil War era, the "Radical Republicans" were given that name because they wanted to not only end slavery but also to endow the freed slaves with full citizenship, equality, and rights. Yes, that was indeed a radical idea at the time! Fact: Lincoln's Vice President, Andrew Johnson, was a strongly pro-Union (but also pro-slavery) Democrat who had been chosen by Lincoln as a compromise running mate to attract Democrats. After Lincoln was assassinated, Johnson thwarted Republican efforts in Congress to recognize the civil rights of the freed slaves, and Southern Democrats continued to thwart any such efforts for close to a century. Fact: The 14th Amendment, giving full citizenship to freed slaves, passed in 1868 with 94% Republican support and 0% Democrat support in congress. The 15th Amendment, giving freed slaves the right to vote, passed in 1870 with 100% Republican support and 0% Democrat support in congress. Regardless of what has happened since then, shouldn't we be grateful to the Republicans for these Amendments to the Constitution? And shouldn't we remember which party stood for freedom and which party fiercely opposed it? Fact: The Ku Klux Klan was originally and primarily an arm of the Southern Democratic Party. Its mission was to terrorize freed slaves and "ni**er-loving" (their words) Republicans who sympathized with them. Why is this fact conveniently omitted in so many popular histories and depictions of the KKK, including PBS documentaries? Had the KKK been founded by Republicans, that fact would no doubt be repeated constantly on those shows. Fact: In the 1950s, President Eisenhower, a Republican, integrated the US military and promoted civil rights for minorities. Eisenhower pushed through the Civil Rights Act of 1957. One of Eisenhower's primary political opponents on civil rights prior to 1957 was none other than Lyndon Johnson, then the Democratic Senate Majority Leader. LBJ had voted the straight segregationist line until he changed his position and supported the 1957 Act. Fact: The historic Civil Rights Act of 1964 was supported by a higher percentage of Republicans than Democrats in both houses of Congress. In the House, 80 percent of the Republicans and 63 percent of the Democrats voted in favor. In the Senate, 82 percent of the Republicans and 69 percent of the Democrats voted for it. Fact: Contrary to popular misconception, the parties never "switched" on racism. The Democrats just switched from overt racism to a subversive strategy of getting blacks as dependent as possible on government to secure their votes. At the same time, they began a cynical smear campaign to label anyone who opposes their devious strategy as greedy racists. Following the epic civil rights struggles of the 1960s, the South began a major demographic shift from Democratic to Republican dominance. Many believe that this shift was motivated by racism. While it is certainly true that many Southern racists abandoned the Democratic Party over its new support for racial equality and integration, the notion that they would flock to the Republican Party -- which was a century ahead of the Democrats on those issues -- makes no sense whatsoever. Yet virtually every liberal, when pressed on the matter, will inevitably claim that the parties "switched," and most racist Democrats became Republicans! In their minds, this historical ju jitsu maneuver apparently transfers all the past sins of the Democrats (slavery, the KKK, Jim Crow laws, etc.) onto the Republicans and all the past virtues of the Republicans (e.g., ending slavery) onto the Democrats! That's quite a feat! It is true that Barry Goldwater's opposition to the Civil Rights Act of 1964 probably attracted some racist Democrats to the Republican Party. However, Goldwater was not a racist -- at least not an overt racist like so many Southern Democrats of the time, such as George Wallace and Bull Connor. He publicly professed racial equality, and his opposition to the 1964 Act was based on principled grounds of states rights. In any case, his libertarian views were out of step with the mainstream, and he lost the 1964 Presidential election to LBJ in a landslide. But Goldwater's opposition to the 1964 Civil Rights Act provided liberals an opening to tar the Republican Party as racist, and they have tenaciously repeated that label so often over the years that it is now the conventional wisdom among liberals. But it is really nothing more than an unsubstantiated myth -- a convenient political lie. If the Republican Party was any more racist than the Democratic Party even in 1964, why did a higher percentage of Republicans than Democrats in both houses of Congress vote for the 1964 Civil Rights Act? The idea that Goldwater's vote on the 1964 Civil Rights Act trumps a century of history of the Republican Party is ridiculous, to say the least. Every political party has its racists, but the notion that Republicans are more racist than Democrats or any other party is based on nothing more than a constant drumbeat of unsubstantiated innuendo and assertions by Leftists, constantly echoed by the liberal media. It is a classic example of a Big Lie that becomes "true" simply by virtue of being repeated so many times. A more likely explanation for the long-term shift from Democratic to Republican dominance in the South was the perception, fair or not, that the Democratic Party had rejected traditional Christian religious values and embraced radical secularism. That includes its hardline support for abortion, its rejection of prayer in public schools, its promotion of the gay agenda, and many other issues. In the 1960s the Democratic Party changed its strategy for dealing with African Americans. Thanks to earlier Republican initiatives on civil rights, blatant racial oppression was no longer a viable political option. Whereas before that time Southern Democrats had overtly and proudly segregated and terrorized blacks, the national Democratic Party decided instead to be more subtle and get them as dependent on government as possible. As LBJ so elegantly put it (in a famous moment of candor that was recorded for posterity), "I'll have those niggers voting Democratic for the next 200 years." At the same time, the Democrats started a persistent campaign of lies and innuendo, falsely equating any opposition to their welfare state with racism. From a purely cynical political perspective, the Democratic strategy of black dependence has been extremely effective. LBJ knew exactly what he was doing. African Americans routinely vote well over 90 percent Democratic for fear that Republicans will cut their government benefits and welfare programs. And what is the result? Before LBJ's Great Society welfare programs, the black illegitimacy rate was as low as 23 percent, but now it has more than tripled to 72 percent. Most major American city governments have been run by liberal Democrats for decades, and most of those cities have large black sections that are essentially dysfunctional anarchies. Cities like Detroit are overrun by gangs and drug dealers, with burned out homes on every block in some areas. The land values are so low due to crime, blight, and lack of economic opportunity that condemned homes are not even worth rebuilding. Who wants to build a home in an urban war zone? Yet they keep electing liberal Democrats -- and blaming "racist" Republicans for their problems! Washington DC is another city that has been dominated by liberal Democrats for decades. It spends more per capita on students than almost any other city in the world, yet it has some of the worst academic achievement anywhere and is a drug-infested hellhole. Barack Obama would not dream of sending his own precious daughters to the DC public schools, of course -- but he assures us that those schools are good enough for everyone else. In fact, Obama was instrumental in killing a popular and effective school voucher program in DC, effectively killing hopes for many poor black families trapped in those dysfunctional public schools. His allegiance to the teachers unions apparently trumps his concern for poor black families. A strong argument could also be made that Democratic support for perpetual affirmative action is racist. It is, after all, the antithesis of Martin Luther King's dream of a color-blind society. Not only is it "reverse racism," but it is based on the premise that African Americans are incapable of competing in the free market on a level playing field. In other words, it is based on the notion of white supremacy, albeit "benevolent" white supremacy rather than the openly hostile white supremacy of the pre-1960s Democratic Party. The next time someone claims that Republicans are racist and Democrats are not, don't fall for it. You might want to know your history before you lay blame about it. Why Racial Movements Are Hypocritical

Beyonce, Marissa Johnson, Al Sharpton and the whole Black Lives Matter movement - This is for you and everyone else who promotes the racial divide, segregates your own people then whines that you're separated. Why do you do that? Why not promote the beauty of the black people instead of inspiring hate for everyone and damaging the beauty of the black community? NONE OF YOU ARE ROLE MODELS. There is so much beauty you are missing out on. Why can't you support ALL lives? Do you know the first slave owner was black? Do you know that Africans enslaved whites before the US was even a country? Do you know whites were enslaved here as well? White men died fighting to free slaves. White men voted (100% Republican support) to end slavery (Only 23% of Democrats supported abolishing slavery). Yet here we are. Of all of the groups to promote, Beyonce chooses the black version of the KKK - The Black Panthers. Both groups have been about promotion of killing a race: the KKK (Created by Democrats to seek retaliation against Republicans and slaves for voting to abolish slavery) promoted killing blacks and the Black Panthers promote killing whites and cops. Seriously, isn't this the very essence of repeating history and promoting race wars? This fundamentally goes against everything MLK preached about. People claim to want unity, acceptance and peace yet some stand up and act the fool (like those teens who beat a Marine while asking him if Black Lives Matter). Our country "claims" to want racism dead yet blacks, latinos, whites and so on separate themselves into these cliques and groups promoting ONLY their kind then get stupid, whine, moan and complain how they are treated different and separated from the masses. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? Get real with yourselves. When was the last time Beyonce' or Al Sharpton stood up for a white girl or a mexican girl or an asian girl? NEVER!!! I am sick of agendas, all agendas. You want an agenda? Why not a "We Are A People" agenda? You don't get to promote one race then complain about racism. We have become a society that promotes separation in all races: to blacks, to whites, to gays, to muslims, to mexicans and so on. When you see a public figure make a statement (as bold as Beyonce did with the Black Panthers) ask yourselves "If a white figure did this, would I be okay with it?" If the answer is no, there is your cue card that on some level it is promoting racism. If a latino public figure did it, would that be any more acceptable? What about a gay public figure? If you're not okay with that statement being made all the way across the board, then it is promoting divided views, racism, hatred and it is wrong - regardless of what race, religion or sexual creed is doing it. The Black Lives Matter movement seems to conveniently forget to discuss black on black crimes. This movement focuses on anti-white, anti-cop racial divides and promoting the black community by acting negative and hateful. What about black crime? Guess what: Cops kill white kids too like in the Michael Bell and Jeremy Mardis cases. Why won't they talk about South Chicago and how black men acting like thugs (drugs, murder, rapes) gets them in trouble? They aren't in trouble because they are black. They are in trouble because they broke the law. Why doesn't the BLM movement strut to South Chicago and scream how black lives matter? Don't the lives of black people killed by other black people matter too? A teen walks around calling women hoes and b*tches, saying he's gonna rob this place, or put the beat down on that person, acting the thug. Then the same teen gets pissed off because he's treated like a thug by police and society. STOP ACTING LIKE IT and you won't get treated like it. Get over yourselves. You can't cry about how your people aren't represented while shutting everyone out EXCEPT your people. You are part of the problem. Until you stop promoting one race above another on EVERY level, it will never go away. Let's face it - racism has been a money maker for many of todays biggest and richest. From movies to music to books. Funny how many of those same people "claim" to want racism dead but who are we kidding? How much money will Beyonce raise for race unity? NOT ONE DOLLAR!!! Has she EVER stood up for a murdered white child at the hands of a black teen like in the case of Sherry West? NOPE. Now if a white artist starts making songs about white pride and white unity there would be a national outcry and that artist would probably never get the Super Bowl stage - guaranteed. Beyonce and some artists like her thrive on modern racism (to a degree) because it gives her the stage to "make a statement" and look the hero but what statement is she really making? Ask yourselves this: If a white woman promoted white lives, white pride, the KKK and made millions off of it, how cool would you be? (Keep in mind, while the KKK acted on their hatred of blacks while targeting and promoting the killing of blacks, so has the Black Panthers in their hatred of whites while targeting and promoting the killing whites, government and cops.) You would be crying foul because money made off of racism is blood money while promoting the racial divide. So why is it ok for a one to do it and not the others? It's not okay, at all, on any level. But it comes down to the money. The all mighty dollar won't let racism die - not until we, as a people and as a whole, make the change for them. Music should be blind to race. But it's not. The hip hop industry was built out of frustration about racism and then makes billions off of promoting the lifestyle of anger, oppression and hate. That has added to, shaped and promoted that which people derive the stereotype from. Would you listen to songs about white pride? Doubt it, at least not without being labelled a racist and having a riot erupt over it. What ever happened to promoting people, black and white helping each other? All races need a role model, one that they can aspire to, learn from and stand with. There are a few black role models like LeCrae, Morgan Freeman, Denzel Washington and Kirk Franklin that are amazing in their messages. Killer Mike said "If blacks were given all the rights they wanted at the expense of women's rights or gays rights I would say 'Thanks but no thanks' because the rights I want for my people, are the same rights I want for everyone". How deep is that? He doesn't just look out for black people, but all people, true equal rights. He doesn't believe in rights for black if the price is no rights for women, gays or anyone else. AMEN!!! Now we have people like Kendrick Lamar ONCE AGAIN singing about Trayvon Martin but there's no one singing about Dillon Taylor or Zachary Hammond? If you're going to align yourself with #AllLivesMatter then stand for ALL lives, black or white. But if you're ONLY going to support your own color then sit down and be quiet about racism. You are part of the problem. We need to think about what the next generation is learning with our messages. What are we teaching them and is it promoting the hatred of racism? I don't care if you're black, white, latino or any other race - ALL LIVES MATTER!! Promote the beauty and positive history of all races in your public forum instead of the stereotype and wrongs against your kind. Blacks enslaved whites, whites enslaved blacks, black on white killings and vice versa, so on and so on. In Africa, blacks are killing children over diamonds being mined but you don't see anyone promoting that aspect of anger-filled injustice. There is a tragic injustice for all races at some point through-out history. We all have a history and we all choose how we deal with it. How can anyone take you seriously about wanting racial equality when you only promote one race? Are you feeling entitled because history showed a particular race wasn't treated fairly? Sorry but history doesn't treat anyone fairly: Ask the Jews. Their blood soaked past reaches back to before Christ yet they have accepted and are growing, moving on and living life to the fullest. Ask the Native Americans how they feel. They've lost more in this country than anyone ever could. People need to wake up because there have been MANY historical contributions to life in this country from the black community, white community, latino and so on. Just from various communities (black, white, hispanic, etc) there have been amazing additions and influences with movies, music, book, theater and dance that have integrated into our daily lives and NOT in a negative, hate-filled, segregating kind of way. Promote the beauty of race unity for the next generation. This is the same for whites, latinos, natives. People have a responsibility to promote change, promote forgiveness, unity, promote civil peace and acceptance yet they choose to promote racism, race pride, social hatred and so on. It's disgusting. It's not just one race that has been treated unfairly. It seems that if you TRULY want racism dead, then stop promoting it, stop segregating yourselves as a whole with only your people and START taking the first steps to unifying people as one. You wonder why people feel the way they do? Look at what you promote. We are born the same, breathe the same, bleed the same and die the same. We should be unifying ourselves. There are greater evils out there who want to divide and destroy us. How about you stop helping in the separation and start making us, as a people, stronger by unifying as a whole? We are a people, a nation and we should not be polarizing our people like magnets. Someone needs to set the example and be the example. You only perpetuate the hate. Who has the guts to take that first step?
If this picture isn't allowed for ALL races then this is EXACTLY what promotes racial tensions. IT IS WRONG!!!

God, Politics and the U.S.A.

I was recently asked, "Why don't you advocate for God the way you advocate for politics?"... My answer is: I do.. just not in a screaming in your face way. Here is what I mean. This country was founded on the Christian principles found in the Bible and the ability to practice that faith, or any faith, without government interference. Blood was shed for those beliefs and a nation was born. Now fast forward a few years. Not everyone believes in God. Not everyone believes in much of anything anymore but the biggest movement I have noticed is by the atheists to remove any resemblence of God from the public forum. Karl Marx said "My object in life is to dethrone God and destroy capitalism." In his efforts, he has laid out the work for the fall of this country. Over the years, we have seen so much of our moral fiber and societal views degrade into an acceptable way of life. But why??? Why is it acceptable to leave God out of our lives? Why is it acceptable to take for granted all that this country was founded on and built upon? Why is it acceptable to not question our leaders, our government, when they have sold us out, betrayed us and are stripping us of our God given rights as human beings??? WHY IS THAT ACCEPTABLE??? Answer is: It's not. As a Christian, I have fallen, far, from God. I have at times even forgot what it was like to be in His grace. But looking back, I also see that the more I pulled away, the more I pushed Him out of my life, the more my life became like the state of this country: In ruins, depsair, full of hopelessness and pain. A very tramatic incident in my life showed me that I had fallen so far and had my faith in such a wrong place that I was driving the wedge between God and myself. God gave me the clarity to see that my faith needed to be on Him and Him alone. Nothing man could make, teach, sell or buy could ever shake my faith. Man can try but man will fail. Then I started looking at our government. Oh how the mighty have fallen. I'm not referring to our government when I say that. I'm referring to you, me... We The People. We have been force fed so many lies, pushed into so many acceptabilities, in the dark for so long that we haven't even seen the damage we have done. We allow for so many people to feed us, nurture us, save us and guide us that we haven't seen the wolf in sheep's clothing. We have allowed our schools to take God out of there because some leftist has an agenda. We have allowed the Ten Commandments to be an afterthought in polite society. We have been conditioned to watch this country fall apart and push God aside yet we complain because of the state we are in. We put ourselves here. We elected officials who put God on the back burner or use God as a campainge slogan without really knowing if they believe not only in us as a people or in this country, but in God himself. But stop for one second. Take a look around. This country couldn't be further from what it was originally based on: God and freedom. We as a society accept so much yet never question it. But in doing so, we, as a society, have also never been further from God. God should be in all of the schools, business, restaurants, amusement parks, military, colleges, government... yet, He's not. Before we know it, this country, especially under current administration, will fall. Not just further away from God, but right into the hands of our enemies. Our military is smaller, our debt is skyrocketing, our morals are loose. Do you think for one second, once America finally hits rock bottom, our enemies won't use that as the perfect time to make their move? What other country has what it takes to fight China or Russia if it came down to it? Answer: NONE!!! If America falls, so will the rest of the free world. Fast forward to current times. As a whole, this country is full of sin. Marriages don't last, children are resentful one parent is missing or abandone them, jobs are scarce, children go to bed hungry or fearful of what the next day brings, parents are fearful of where their next check is coming from, stress tears friendships and families apart. That is exactly what is needed to undermine the foundations of what this country once stood for. God has shown us time and time again that a weak foundation falters everytime. Think back to the earlier times when families were strong, when the economy was booming, when life wasn't so threatened. When WW2 happened, the US was looked at for support and help. People were flocking to this country because of what we stood for: Families, Jobs, good Christian values... The American Dream. Now look at us. We are a joke. China looks at us and calls our leader a traitor. We have massive drugs problems, parents killing their kids, porn gone rampant, divorces are the new quickie and marriages have turned into a business while God, morals, principles and truth have fallen into the thing of the past. Why do I pull politics and God together? For this reason: God is the only one who can save us. Not only our country from our enemies, but also oursleves. I love living here and I am blessed with what God has given me, both in family and friends and in life. I look around and see His touch everywhere. Beauty both in land and people. I am blessed to live in America but America is being threatened on a daily basis and we, as a people, aren't doing anything about it. I have seen on facebook a picture going around that says "student: God, why did you let that bad man into our school? God: I'm not allowed in school, remember?" How sad that is. I remember as a kid saying the pledge of alligience in school, I remember talking about God in school. I remember seeing the Ten Commanments in courthouses. I remeber doing Christmas plays about Jesus's birth. I remember seeing Nativity scenes in town. I remember seeing Merry Christmas everywhere. I remember Christmas caroling with songs about Christ. Now I look around and don't see much of that anymore. Non-believers have stitched themselves into the fabric of this country and are doing a bang up job of pushing God out of the way. We The People need to take back our country, take back our right to see God anywhere we want. We the people need to get back the morals, conviction and faith in God. God gave us a voice, a life, a choice. What have we chosen? We have chosen to elect officials who don't believe in Him. We have chosen to let our families fall apart. We have chosen to accept the change without question or accountability. We have chosen to let God be pushed aside in our public and political forums without responsibility. God said "Whom much is given, much is required" (Luke 12:48). God has given us so much and this is how we repay Him? We have to answer for those choices. I have to answer for my choices. For sins I am aware of, and for sins I don't know I've committed. I have lots to answer for. God doesn't want this for us. God doesn't want us to be jealous of our neighbors. He doesn't want us to be full of hate. He doesn't want us to be morally empty and sinfully full. He wants us to call out to Him, depend on Him, pray to Him and let Him take over. He gives us a family yet we don't put Him in the middle so our families fall apart. Society says it's ok so we get divorced. He gives us blessed angels as children. Yet we don't teach them all of the things He wants us to teach them. They turn from God because society says it's ok. He gives us friends and family, yet without Him in the picture, we fight and argue, build resentments and hatred. It all falls apart. Society says get new ones and forget about them. GOD DIDN"T WANT THAT!!! Here's the thing: WE THE PEOPLE are society. WE didctate what's allowed in this country and what isn't. WE decide what we will put up with and what we won't. But here is the grace God gives us: It's not too late. We can be saved in every way that matters. We need to turn to God for the strength, for the opportunity, for the forgiveness. What do you want to see America become? It's up to you and I. WE DECIDE... Bringing God back into this country, back into the forefront of our lives, as this country was intended, is our only hope. Not only for our salvation eternally, but our salvation of families, faith, morals and principles. We can do this... as a society, a people, a God believing nation. Will you stand up for God and be the real change this country needs?

Jay-Z, Beyonce And Hypocrisy...

Just a quick thought here: So Jay-Z, Beyonce and the rest of the Martin people are attending a protest today chanting "No Vengeance, No Peace"... By doing so and NOT calling for peace, they in turn support the riots and all that they cause. TRAYVON MARTIN IS NOT THE ONLY PERSON KILLED THIS YEAR WHO DESERVES THE SPOTLIGHT!!! Trayvon isn't even the most heartbreaking of dead children. So why do superstars with such power and influence participate in the protests and NOT call for peace? Why don't they stand up like this for all dead kids, black or otherwise, instead of just one whom they have never met? Why can't they show their support for families of all dead children the way they support the Martin's? Racism has an influence. Think about Al Sharpton and the select cases he supports. When was the last time he supported racism against a white person who was a victim to black on white crime? He hasn't and he won't. Racism has inched it's way into every fabric of our lives. How many songs, videos and movies have made millions off the back of racism and it's victims. It's wrong and only furthering the racial divide. As a society, racism has mostly been the blacks support blacks, whites support whites and so on, right down to the "elite". When will these so called "elite" people cross the great divide and support a different race enduring tragedy as they do the Martin's? While Jay-Z and Beyonce showed terrible judgement today, they are not alone. This case of Zimmerman vs. Trayvon has only been the latest in a long list of cases that have been on a national scale under the guise of racism. Musicians, politians, even so called faces of the "Stop The Racism" movement have spoken or acted out all while screaming "End The Hate". But in instances of Sharpton and his misguided attempts at helping, aren't they themselves promoting it? They have no problem taking the money of any fan, regardless of race but you won't see them showing support this way for a dead white kid, a murdered asian baby or a mexican teen. Show this kind of public support EQUALLY for ALL children who have died or stay out of it together. You scream "Equality" but you yourselves aren't as equal in your support as you claim to want in return. Congratulations Jay-Z and Beyonce. You have just lost my support as a fan. Since neither of you can support "PEACE" and "Unity" in these racially charged times, then I can no longer support your music, and I'm not the only one.

In talking with some friends, I have realized that every year, more and more of "God" is being forced to disappear. It really just started as a small news story here and there. But now it seems to be a mainstream movement. There is a group of Atheists out there who feel it is their mission to remove any and all visible figures, sayings, quotes and imagery of Christ, the Ten Commandments, God, religion in any pretext and now holiday decorations. This is just my opinion, but what gives them the right to dictate that we have to hide symbols, icons and texts of our individual faiths??? Now I have friends of many different religious beliefs. Some believe, some don't and some believe differently than me. But we can all appreciate that we believe differently and leave it at that. Sometimes we discuss the differences but only to share our views and understand someone else's. This atheist group on the other hand is a whole new kind of cattle. They claim it is being shoved down their throats and they don't want that influence on their kids. To hear them tell it, it is a marriage of church and state. Go read your history. The separation of church and state is NOT how you are trying to make it out to be. The whole concept of it was mentioned in a mere letter by Thomas Jefferson. Let's move on to something I don't like. I don't like porn but I see it everywhere I go. Difference between me and them??? I am strong enough in who I am not to let the porn advertising influence my views, my thoughts or my life. As for my faith, I am strong enough in who I am that someone's lack of faith and vendetta against religious displays won't deter me from believing and practicing my belief. What is their excuse? Why are atheists so threatened by a simple "Merry Christmas" or a nativity scene? Why do they feel so threatened that they seek out religious symbols around the country and bring frivolous lawsuits to try to have said imagery forcibly taken down? What's next on their agenda: Will they begin to sue Christian radio stations for playing Christian music or try to sue Christmas companies for making religious decorations??? When will their madness end??? If you don't like someone's faith, or their actions for displaying that faith, why not just leave them alone? Keep walking, stop looking for reasons to advertise to the world how miserable you are because we believe in something and want to share it with others.. If you don't like the nativity scenes, then stay home and don't celebrate the holidays. Don't come over to a Christmas party and bitch, whine, moan and complain that everyone is saying "Merry Christmas" instead of "Happy Holidays"... You claim that you don't want the undue influence?? Well, if a simple plastic nativity scene or the words Merry Christmas, or even the ten commandments are enough to influence you, then maybe you are not as strong in your beliefs as you like to think. That's time for some serious reevaluation about the core of what you believe in and what you stand for. I don't go through great lengths to stay away from your non-believing ways, so why are you going through such great lengths to try and force believers to hide their ways??? Now I don't believe in every religion out there. Some I even have an issue with. I just leave them alone and go about my business. So I will close in saying this: I'm going to make cookies, sit down and read my Bible. I would offer some to the atheists out there, but they wouldn't like them. They will be in shapes of crosses and CHRISTmas trees. So to all of you, Merry Christmas and while I will pray about you, I will also pray you give up this ridiculous vendetta against something you don't believe in anyway so that maybe you can be more constructive with your efforts and leave us believers to believe in something worth it. The Most Beautiful Soul...


My Dearest Little Man,

Time with you went by too soon. The short time we were blessed with you is time I will always treasure. You have changed our lives in ways we can't put into words. Your smile warmed the coldest night and the memory of you gives us reason to keep going. I will always miss the way you were so curious and always felt the need to hide things anywhere, just because they fit into whatever you were playing with. I laugh at how you would chew on the stuffed Monkey's butt. I will never forget the first time you saw your own reflection and were so puzzled, but when you smiled at yourself, you scared yourself and cried. Your precious face still resonates in my mind, a reminder of how beautiful you were, inside and out. You will never be alone. You are and always will be God's gift to everyone who knew you. Your memory lives on, your smile touches lives daily. You're alive in our hearts, always will be. You were taken from us way too soon but that only makes the time we had you, the time you gave us, the year you changed our lives forever, that much more meaningful. We know we will see you again. Until then, play with the angels, walk the streets of heaven, look in on us from time to time and let us know how happy and at peace you are. You will always be my little man, I will always be your Nonni. I know you're waiting for all of us up there, but know we have unfinished business here to do first. You will always be one of my greatest loves, my highest hope, my deepest inspiration. I love you Jericho. Missing you always, Love Nonni.

The quiet of the night will never be the same. My rocking chair will never be used for balance just to be close to me or to cut his teeth on. His Steelers blanket will never be bundled up and giggled in. His voice will always resonate in the amazing memories he left behind. His giggle will always echo in the house as will his smile. I will miss so much about him, the way he would pull himself up and be so proud of himself, then fall down and get fussy but always get back up and try again taught me to never give up. The way he would jump up and down when his Steelers blanket was being brought to him taught me to take joy in simple things. He would sit in his high chair when eating and dance to music that was playing, as if it was written for him taught me to have fun in all things I do. The way he would stick out his tongue and stay that way until someone would do it back taught me to be silly every chance I get. He would sigh twice in his sleep as he was settling in taught me to slow down and enjoy the quiet moments. Even as young as he was, he has taught me about life without even trying. Jericho may have only been here for a short time, but his life, his love, his joy has touched hundreds of lives. He had a way of looking at you that pierced your heart, a smile that made you forget your troubles and hug that embraced your soul. He is and always will be loved and dearly missed. God felt the need to call him home. I guess the angels needed him more than we do. He lives on, not only in our hearts and memories, but in every smile, every tear, every dream that he has touched. I love you Jericho.

The Unexpected Change....

It seems that life has a funny way of showing you things, even if you aren't looking. It's not a matter of paying attention to circumstances around you, it's about circumstances paying attention to you. People often say change is a good thing because it affords you the opportunity to grow and learn. But what if the lesson is one that isn't yours to learn? What if you're only meant to witness someone else's lesson and be there for moral support? Circumstances aren't always in your control, but the lesson learned is and what you do with it makes the difference.

Recently, someone very close to me has revealed some things about how he feels and how he looks at life. It opened my eyes about what I was missing in my life and the direction I wanted to go as opposed to the direction I was headed. I watched as he ran through his daily routines, errands that needed to be done, hobbies and things that made him happy and stresses that made him upset. I thought about the chaos and stresses in my life and what I was doing about them. It's an amazing thing when someone sees who you are above and beyond all of the daily facades that seem to make up who we appear to be. A simple conversation can be life changing if shared in the right way, with the right people at the right time. We shared many of these conversations and the lightbulb went on.

After talking to him, I looked back on my life and the people I have met along the way. Some were a waste of time, others were inspiring, while even more were people who taught something, left a mark, impacted my life in one way or another. I realized I had been living my life for others and what they expected instead of living my life for me and up to my expectations. It was a heartbreaking moment. I realized I gave up on my heart's desires. I gave up on the romance and passion that's out there. I gave up on wanting to taste life, feel the heat of love, embrace the cold winter nights with a cup of coffee and some good conversation by the fireplace. I had resolved myself to being okay that I was just good enough. I don't want to be good enough. I want to more than good enough. I want to be one that is thought of when someone thinks of a song, or drive's by a restaurant where we have memories. I want to be a life of memories for people who are a life of memories for me. I was once told that my idea of love is flawed, that I have watched too many chick flicks and read too many romance novels. I disagree.

Who says I can't share those moments with someone? Who says those moments don't exist? As far as I can see, everyone else says that. But what about the people who have had it, felt it, touched it and tasted it? I feel I am not alone in this. I feel many people out there want the same things but are afraid like I was to go for it. I'm not afraid anymore. I know it will be worse than finding a needle in a haystack but I will never know if it is real or not unless I try. I have spent many nights crying myself to sleep because I was buying into the societal notion that what I want doesn't exist and I'm a fool for thinking so. I'm done crying, I'm done dreaming about it. I'm going back to living it, even if others think I'm a fool for doing so.

I have reached a point in my life where I don't care what people think is foolish or not. So what if I dance around my house, sing loudly (and off key) to my favorite songs, organize my books the way I like them (the order makes sense to me). Who cares if I listen to the same song over and over, if I want to watch a movie a few times because it makes me feel sappy and romantic to see the guy get the girl he dreams of (or vice versa). I like driving for hours, playing with my hair, reading a familiar book for the hundredth time, sitting on a mountain side and imagining what's going on in the lives of the people down below. I LOVE thunderstorms and mythology, inside jokes (cracker jack prize in a box phones, SchmarmyBucks Coffee and how some people need to stop being John Denver tree hugging hippies and stop trying to get me to get in touch with my hippie side.. NOT gonna happen and it's Small, Medium, Large, Learn it, Know it, Get it right, lobster vs owl, Pranks Wars, K-man and so many others). I like being different, be unique, being genuine. Honesty is not a goal, but a way of life. Tears don't always mean your sad and pain reminds you to appreciate the good times when they come along.

I'm going on a road trip in a few weeks and I'm going to grab life and love it. Am I going to get my picture of my truck on a California beach at sunset? Yes and then I'm going to sit down and listen to the waves as they come crashing along the shoreline. Am I going to smile and make people laugh, meet up with old friends and reminisce about old times, create new ones and see just how much we all haven't changed? Yes I am and I'm going to love every minute of it. I'm going to try new foods, try new adventures, find a piece of my heart that has been missing for so many years. I'm going on a trip to find me again, to find my heart's desire and fall in love with life again. Who knows what else I might find... But whatever it is, I'm sure it will be life changing and I hope for the better.

Don't be afraid to live more, love deeper, laugh louder and just plain old go for it. There is nothing wrong with wanting passion, romantic evenings, laughter or just to be noticed for who you are because of the beauty you hold inside. Every movie, every song, every romance book is based on someone's experience or desire. It truly is the little things that make the difference. Like I said before, a simple conversation can change your life. A joke can give way to a shared memory that will make someone laugh every time they think of it. A tear falling can leave someone wanting to wipe it away for you. A simple hug can make you feel at home. The words "I Love You" can sear into your heart where it will stay forever if said by the right person. Why not try to make some of those happen? I will let you know how my vacation goes... Who knows, I may just find the unexpected...

Our Founding Fathers...

With that being said, which way do you think we are headed? If you own guns, regardless of the reason, do you feel the government is 'For The People' anymore? Do you think the government is wanting to protect us from harm when the harm is coming from the allowances they afford to the criminals? As so wonderfully put by Metzenbaum before his passing: "I don't care about crime, I just want to get the guns." -Senator Howard Metzenbaum. I can't help but wonder how many of the government elects share his sentiments, especially with the allowances our president has made, concessions he is making and the American people he is crushing under foot in order to make this happen. How much more will you take?

Guns, Rights and Freedoms...

I was having a discussion with someone about Obama's plans for gun control. We were talking about people who are pushing for guns to be governed more strictly. Noooooo, say it ain't so. What do you mean there are hippie liberals who want to trample on my rights as a gun owner?? Nooooo, that can't be right... Yeah ok, try again. The crimes of the many don't infringe on the lives of the corrupt who govern us right??? WRONG!!

US District Judge Joan H. Lefkow's family might still be alive if there had been a gun in the house for her husband to use to defend himself and his mother in law. She was the judge who came home and found her husband and mother shot to death. Do you know how many judges have a gun with them for safety? Many of them do. Why? Because they want to PROTECT themselves in the courtroom against the criminals who can (and have) killed judges while they were in court. Case and point: Brian Nichols, Georgia killing spree, killed Judge Barnes who was presiding over another case while in court. Also, David Paradiso who stabbed a judge on a trial break in California.

If you don't like guns and don't want them around, THEN DON'T BUY ONE BUT STOP TRYING TO FORCE YOUR WILL ON ME SIMPLY BECAUSE YOUR TOO AFRAID, TOO IRRESPONSIBLE OR SIMPLY DON'T LIKE GUNS. I don't like strip clubs, but you don't see me trying to get them all shut down and make them illegal. I JUST DON'T GO TO THEM. If a married man CHOOSES to go then he CHOOSES to deal with the consequences of an angry wife (if she would get upset about that). It's that simple. COMMON SENSE!!! But if a criminal assaults, rapes or robs you, don't cry to me because you didn't have adequate self protection. You better hope he doesn't get hurt while trying to commit a crime against you because our glorious, wonderful, amazing justice system allows him to sue you for damages, regardless of the fact he was in the wrong. You were warned.

GUNS ARE NOT THE PROBLEM, STUPIDITY IS!!! Guns don't kill people, people do. A gun is not going to get up and shoot you. A person would have to load it, cock it and pull the trigger. YOU CHOOSE TO DO IT. YOU CHOOSE TO PULL THE TRIGGER, YOU CHOOSE TO KILL YOURSELF OR SOMEONE ELSE. You made the choice, that's on you. Whatever selfish motives you had just shows how much of an idiot you were in the first place thus deserving whatever you got. Guns can be bought as easily as aspirin. Here's an idea, toughen the sentencing laws for the idiots who do this! Seriously, you think by taking my guns away that criminals will suddenly have a kumbaya moment and starting singing "Sunshine On My Shoulders"... Yes, there are dumb asses who don't protect their weapons, kids get ahold of them and people die. They should be punished for being stupid and irresponsible.

Criminals don't care about how legal or illegal guns are. If they don't use a gun to kill people, they will find other ways such as bombs, planes (9/11 and Joseph Stack, the pilot who flew his plane into an IRS building in Texas), cars, even product and food tampering. Face it, there are just some sick people in the world and no law ever written will be able to stop them. The government needs to wake up. I hope one day you don't find out just how much you could have saved and protected someone dear to you had you been armed and able to defend yourselves. I hope and pray you never have to bury someone because you didn't give them the right to fight fairly for their lives.

There was a time in our history when this type of governing didn't work. The government tried to ban alcohol. In the roaring 20's, prohibition was the ban on alcohol. See how well that worked out. Seems I can freely go and buy alcohol if I CHOOSE to. The government couldn't keep that right away from us long. What makes them think that with everything they have done to lose our belief in them all of these years that we will allow them to take away our CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT to bear arms?? They just want to control everything right down to the right to protect our very lives. (Hint Wisconsin.. In Wisconsin, if you shoot and kill an intruder who breaks with the intent of killing you or your family, you will be brought up on murder charges for defending your family. They have no self-defense claus. How the hell is that fair?) Lady Justice at her best right there.

I believe that if the government won't protect my rights, then it falls upon me to protect them myself. Our government is a business as long as our rights don't cut into their money making bottom line. The minute they do our freedoms and rights are on the chopping block. Chipping away at our rights and freedoms in the manner our government is doing not only diminishes what this country was built on, but that in turn makes us no better than the dictatorship that we claim to fight against. With our government who is blind to the will of the people, a justice system that can protect the perpetrator more than the victim, and politicians who only care about their bank accounts and privileges, what chance do we have to ensure we won't, in time, turn out to be another Germany or USSR?

How can we claim to be the land of the free when our very "freedom" is being traded away in laws that protect the ones who wish to do us harm. Just a thought...

Conceal & Carry Gun Laws By State...

Here are the current standings By state regarding gun permits (in short and this can change at anytime based on new laws and amendments signed into effect both federally and by individual states):

No-Issue: A No-Issue jurisdiction is one that does not allow any private citizen to carry a concealed handgun. The term refers to the fact that no concealed carry permits will be issued (or recognized). States Included: Illinois, Wisconsin, District of Columbia

May-Issue: A May-Issue jurisdiction is one that requires a permit to carry a concealed handgun, and where the granting of such permits is partially at the discretion of local authorities (frequently the sheriff's department or police). The law typically states that a granting authority may issue a permit if various criteria are met. States Included: Alabama, California, Delaware, Hawaii, Iowa (On April 29, 2010 Iowa governor Chet Culver signed SF 2379 into law on January,1 2011 Iowa will become a "Shall issue" state), Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island.

Shall-Issue: A Shall-Issue jurisdiction is one that requires a permit to carry a concealed handgun, but where the granting of such permits is subject only to meeting certain criteria laid out in the law; the granting authority has no discretion in the awarding of the permits. Typical permit requirements include residency, minimum age, submitting fingerprints, passing a computerized instant background check, attending a certified handgun/firearm safety class, and paying a required fee. Differences, People And Life's Lessons...

What attracts us to the people in our lives? Is it the way they look, the possessions they have, the clothes they wear, their faith, their beliefs, the movies they watch, the jokes they crack, their sarcasm, their compassion?? Why do we want the people in our lives to be there? Would our lives be different, drastically altered or stay the same if one, some or all of them were gone??

I have thought about this for sometime. I thought I had people in my life because of like minded ideals, beliefs and outlooks. But that didn't explain the people in my life who believed different than me, or had different outlooks or faith, opinions or principles. So I thought about it again. Then something dawned on me....

Would I want the same people in my life now that I knew years ago? The cool people back then have a different life than I do. Maybe they aren't so cool now. Maybe the not-so-cool people back then would be amazing now. Truth is, there are A LOT of people back then that are not in my life now. The people in my life now are here because i want them to be and vice versa. People change. It doesn't matter if they do the changing or I do. Thing is, once those changes are made, circumstances change, then outlooks and feelings and before you know it, your old self is but an empty shell.

I know if I had met the teen me now, I would not want that person in my life. That is how much I have changed over the years. One of the true rarities in life is finding someone who knew you then, stood by you through the changes, and still wants you now.. May even want you later when you change some more. The thing that I do know that sets people apart is the lack of knowledge, the unwillingness to try, the forgotten gift of forgiveness and the healing of laughter and love. I know I don't always get it right, I make plenty of mistakes and I am still learning. One thing I do know is people from my past and people currently in my life have taught me more than any ivy league education could ever imagine teaching me.

I can't explain why each and every person is in my life. I know some are here for a short time until one of us changes something. Others will be here for a longer time and even fewer will be around for the long haul. Some people are just meant to only be in your life for a season, some only for a year, some only for bit longer of a time period and a select few for a lifetime. I have lost some amazing people over the years. Some of it is my doing, some of it was theirs, some of it was out of anyones control and they sit with God now. But I take from each person a precious memory, and leave a piece of my heart with them. I am a firm believer that everyone leaves a mark. I can't say everyone's mark on me is something I will treasure, but I can say every mark left has a lesson attached to it. Now whether the person who left that mark or not is a good person, that is debatable. Point is, a mark was left and it is up to me to decide how to remember that person.

For the ones who have left, served their purpose, and have moved on, I thank you for contributing to my life, for leaving your mark. For those that are in my life now, I appreciate every moment we share. Whether it be a short time longer before we part ways or we stick through the nonsense, know that as I get older, I appreciate knowing you and hope it doesn't end soon. I pray some of the people I know now are in this for the long haul, however long God allows my life to be. I am praying it is a very long time to go, but if your in my life for the long haul, strap yourself in, take a deep breath and know this will be quite an adventure.

I know I have not made the best of every single opportunity to help, care or understand someone who has come into my life, regardless of circumstances. There are certain people I would love to get to know, but because of missed opportunities, that will never happen. Both sides are missing out on something that could be amazing or they are blessed because they averted a complete disaster. Either way, I will never know and that is a sorrowful reality.

Don't miss out on the chances you have to make a difference or leave a mark on someone's life. No one is promised tomorrow. Would you really want to miss out on something amazing because of differences you think you have with someone? It is ok to have a different view, have a different feeling, be a different person. It is ok to change and grow. But if someone in your life matters to you now, then do it with them instead of fighting to make them see your side, or fighting with them to be left alone. There is no sense in trying to change someone else to be like you when in time you won't even be the same as you are now.

I have rambled enough but I look forward to knowing more, growing more, loving and laughing because God knows when my time is up and I don't want to waste time arguing or pointing out differences when they should be celebrated. As someone I care about recently found out, tomorrow's don't always come so enjoy today with the people in your life while you can. Make a difference instead of always trying to change one.

Yahoo Feels "GOD" Is Offensive...

Since when does Yahoo feel "GOD" is offensive??? This is Memorial Day Weekend and I was reading an article about a soldier widow and what she is going through. She feels caught in limbo between military life and civilian life. That is not what pissed me off.

After the article, I went and read the comments about the story. In the comments section, many people were trying to write "In God's hands" or "I lift these families of our fallen up to God in prayer in God's name." and instead of seeing the word GOD, they switched it to this array of symbols: @#$% That is how Yahoo! translated the word God. The only time you will see the word written out as it should be and not a bunch of symbols is if someone wrote G.O.D. with periods or they wrote it in capital letters.

Since when is it offensive to use God's name in a post... "In God We Trust", "In God's Hands", "In God's Name" and so on... Yahoo won't allow it... So being a Christian is now offensive to Yahoo??? I have informed the Christian Coalition about this type of censorship. Yahoo's taking the liberty to censor out God in a comment. Yahoo doesn't have the right to do that. I would like to know your opinion. Read the story and check out the comments. I am not the only one who is noticing this.

I am not sure why Yahoo decided to "suddenly" allow people to type the word "God" in the comments section. It doesn't excuse what they did in the first place. I will still not return to Yahoo as an email account holder. I have moved on to a better one. I would still like to know what Yahoo was thinking in doing that and an apology wouldn't be a bad idea too...

A Look Into Your Soul...

I woke up this morning with a migraine. Not wanting to do much because of the pain, I made some coffee and looked out onto my back porch. Here it is, the end of May and we are under a winter advisory. It is one of those days where you don't want to go anywhere or do anything only now with a migraine. I signed online to look up some things and to check a few things with all intent to get back to work on the movie. But someone had other plans. I came across this video that really made me think. After watching it, I sat and stared out my window in deep thought. I want to share this with you and hopefully you will find in yourself what I have found in me.

In thinking about my life and the people in it and not in it anymore, I found out something about myself. I have carried a lot of anger over the years. Anger from my childhood and certain people involved, anger at family who is no longer in my life (either by death or by their choice to leave) and anger about situations I have experienced over the years. I can't explain why they made the choices they made but I can explain the choices I have made. One of those choices is to forgive them. Whether or not they forgive me it their choice and they will deal with God about that. But in my heart and deep in my soul, I forgive them. It doesn't matter if it is family, friends, co-workers, ex-spouses or what have you. I have been wronged in my life. Many things happened to me that no one should ever go through. I am still forgiving them.

This is dedicated to those I care about, my family, friends, and those I have lost. I dedicate this to those who are suffering from pain, experiencing joy, falling in love or are broken from abuses of the past. I also dedicate this to those who seem to delight in the suffering of others... If someone like this can find happiness, who are you to try and take it away. I dedicate this to the ones I don't really like because I am hoping that this will motivate them to be honest, to be truthful and above all respectful when dealing with anyone about any situation. I know that is asking a lot but smaller things have happened and greater things have changed lives. For me, this is one of the great things. Enjoy....

Bible, Wisdom And True Friends...

It seems no matter what you try to do in life, someone always has to remind you of your mistakes... It doesn't matter if you admit them, try to make amends or even publicly admit your wrongs and seek forgiveness. Some people are just hell bent on keeping the reminders alive. No one is perfect. Someone is always standing there (proclaiming to be a Christian) and reminding people every chance they get of how someone screwed up, judging, not forgiving and has the nerve to whine and complain when someone points out her flaws. "And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye?" Matt 7:3 Holy Bible talking right there... Even the Holy Bible knows that what is being done is wrong? What scripture says to forgive then to keep using forgiven sins to judge and hurt??? None that I know of.

Since people are claiming to be Christians how about they live by their faith and not by their sins. Here is what the Holy Bible says about forgiveness, what we should do and what Christ does: Matt 14-15 says: “For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses." AND 1 John 1:7 "But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all sin." AND 1 John 1:9 says: "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness." and Heb 8:12 "For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more." Let me see, what does that say... Remember their sin no more??? From The Bible, look it up if you don't believe me. Forgive and forget is the Christian way.

Open the doors that need to be opened and close the ones that need to be closed forever. I have not only asked for forgiveness from the ones I sinned against, but also from God. He has forgiven me and remembers no more what I did. But the ones who falsely forgave me and did so in His name will have to answer to Him. Those who proclaim His name answer to a higher standard: All I can do is pray. I always have in my heart these two verses (as stated above): Matt 14-15: “For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses." AND Romans 13:14 "Therefore let us not judge one another anymore, but rather resolve this, not to put a stumbling block or a cause to fall in our brother’s way."

I make no apologies for quoting scripture to back up how I believe. Nowhere in the Holy Bible does it say to forgive and then remind the sinner of their sins. It says clear as day and many times to forgive and forget as God does when He forgives you. How can someone be a Christian and not follow God's teachings?? God knows all and He judges accordingly. I know as for me, on judgement day, I want as many of my sins as possible to be washed and erased with Christ's blood.

One more thing. I was talking to a dear dear friend of mine this morning. I will continue to pray that she will find peace and answers for her health.... I know what she is going through. I have been dealing with it for most of my life. I hope things will find resolve and I hope she will soon be able to relax. I am here if you need me. Just call. But something in our conversation this morning struck me. While many people may know of her, many people don't truly know her, or her opinions. I was taken aback when she opened up to me about the way she feels regarding things that have happened lately. She truly does have a beautiful soul and I can honestly say without reproach, I love her.

Another woman who has given me sage advice and has always been a rock for me has just started a new business. I wish her the best. While I will always be staunch supporter of her and her family, I know all too well what she has been through due to the pathetic efforts of some people. I am here for you always. You have reeled me in when I wanted to go out full force, guns blazing with my ass on fire. But you have shown me reason and reality. I owe you for being my friend. You are someone I will always have a place in my heart for. I love you deeply.

Statistics, Porn and Disney...

To others:
As for statistical data, therapists (most) do not go around handing out educational hand outs on sex... they make references to adult materials and toys, role playing and fantasies. They also do not recommend certain movies or toys or anything. They simply guide the couple to other avenues of sensuality and sexual exploration.

Why must everything be broken down into lamens terms when people claim to be smart and educated on this??? I'm really tired of explaining things twice or more because someone gets A-moral-typical with someone's statement...

For those that need it explained more:

Porn is up to each and every individual. If you like it then so be it... keep it legal... if you don't then stay the hell out of bedroom business that you're not involved in. I think it was wrong to have the computer in her bedroom but if he wanted to watch porn... more power to him... Just because you don't like porn doesn't mean everyone is a dirty bird because they like something different.. Seriously, enough with the porn police...

A question for all of the porn police out there:
Ever watch a Disney movie??? Remember how many of their movies have been recalled or re-released because of pornographic images?(little mermaid, lions king.. just to name a couple) Would it surprise you to know that Disney has stock in the porn industry??? Not so family driven now huh??

Just some info for the porn police to think about next time they wish to speak out about the morality of porn on families and children. Children shouldn't be watching porn in the first place, but you bring up family structure: What about the one thing that preaches family this and that.... See where they keep their cookies??? A Never Ending Story...

I have thought about a lot of things lately. I am reminded of some of the things I have done through out my life and things that have been done to me. I am almost reminded of regrets, and if I have any. I can honestly say I do not. Of course there are things I would have done differently, but that's not a regret. The mistakes I have made have taught me lessons about people, myself and the difference a single gesture can make. I am not going to repeatedly be harsh on myself for something that can not be changed as I will not continually be harsh on someone for something they can not change. The past is an ever changing story in itself. One to be visited often, remembered seldom but never altered. Someone from my life comes to mind: I would like to introduce you to her..

I won't reveal her name due to some people trying to locate my family and friends. So I shall refer to her as "Beth". I first met "Beth" when I was 18. I was a city girl and she was a country girl. To say the least we didn't see eye to eye on anything. I said up, she said down. We attempted to get along, but we were just too young and too different. I can't say I was an easy person back then. I thought I knew it all, I knew what life was about. I was wrong. As time went on, we lost touch and interest with each other. I don't know exactly what it was that brought us back together, but I remember how awkward it was to hang out again. Over the next couple of years, we would see each other and hang out but it wasn't a bonding type of hang out. There were some hellacious arguments and typical young adult stupidity always around us. Little did I know how quickly that would change....

We started to notice the adventures of our past. How, at the time we thought life was boring and silly. But thinking back on it reminded us of just how much fun we were really having. One night around 2am, we decided to go hang out down by the lake in the marina. I parked my truck at a weird angle and and she parked her car right in front of mine. Her and I climbed up on my truck hood and played cards and smoked cigarettes and just talked. We were there for about an hour when we noticed traffic going by on the street next to the parking lot was slowing down and starring at us. Then we realized by the way our cars were parked, it looked like a car accident had taken place. We started laughing about it. From then on, every time we met up in the middle of the night we would park our vehicles in strange ways, mostly just to make it easier to climb up on my truck.

That was the first of many silly things her and I have been through. We always have adventures when we hang out. She is my wing man and I am hers. She is the one who came to my house at 2am because I couldn't handle something I had found out about my ex-at-the-time. She is the one who would tell me I was a dumb ass because I didn't see that a gorgeous guy was hitting on me in the bookstore and I was completely oblivious. She is the one who has stood by me, no matter what, right or wrong and saw the best in me. She is my reason for what little faith I have in people.

Now we do have our differences. We can debate the pros and cons of anything under the sun. You would swear we were arguing to the death about politics, society, relationship issues, terrorism, religion, kids.... I mean everything. But if I was going to debate life with someone, I couldn't imagine doing it with anyone else. Through out these debates, I learn things. Not just about why I stand on the views that I do, but also why some people stand on the views they do. She knows my hunger for knowledge. She shares my thirst for studying many things, regardless if it will effect our lives or not. She calls me and vents about her life as I do with her. We sometimes get bored and will just ask a random questions, one that neither of us knows much about, and we will research and study and debate the answers. We share opinions and never do we lose sight of the fact that they are just opinions. Neither of us feel the need to contact the other's friends and people in their lives just to tract down and intimidate. She and I actually enjoy exchanging differing thoughts and debating the facts. We learn not only about the subject we are discussing, but also more about ourselves and each other. So how do things get so out of hand???

Through talking to her and knowing everything we have been through, I started thinking about current situations and people involved. It doesn't really matter what people think of me or the opinions they carry about my life, my actions or who I am in general. None of this will matter in 10 years. The people and lessons to be learned now can either inhibit my life and those involved with me or help it to prosper. I am not meant to please everyone. I am not wanting to do so. But something her and I share is fundamental through out our lives. How does this matter? We ask ourselves this many times in all different situations.

That got me thinking... Why am I so worried about what people think or how they view my opinion? Answer is: Im not. I know I have friends who believe different than I do on many types of things. But we respect the difference and have a grounded friendship. "Beth" has had a different opinion about things, some serious, but we have always respected boundaries and our connection to each other far outweighs the difference of opinion. Some of the people who don't know or care who I am or what I am about really have no bearing on my life. So what if they don't like me, so what if they don't like my opinions or how I live my life. The only common thread we have linking us to each other is a tit for tat, back and forth mud slinging.

I am amazed to have such an amazing woman in my life. I am honored to know that she will always be there for me and I for her. I am blessed to love her, honored to know her and will always cherish who she is and what she is all about. From the oddly parked cars, the peanut butter police incident at 3am, the endless burgers from McDonald's, the now infamous urinal disk, Copacabana, The Brian fiasco, The Ray epidemic, tinboy, smokie treats, Sife, Lynn's on the 4th of July, endless driving chats, the walks, the endless search for the perfect sunglasses, St. Killian's, Gums, the zoo of endless animals, four wheeling in the snow and getting stuck, almost getting killed by a bus, the chain across the car at the shop, the "chikadee" rapist Harmon, the endless teasing of clowns, the investigations, the cemetery trips, the gossip, the drama, everything that has made our relationship what it is, that is what makes her the real deal. A life shared.

I have no regrets where my life is concerned. I can honestly say I wouldn't change anything. I have had an incredible life and many adventures that have contributed to who I am and what I hold deepest in my heart. I wish circumstances could have been different at times, but even then, there is that chance that I could some how be different by the change of one instance. "Beth" has shown me that the slightest change could take your life in a direction you might not have planned for nor wanted. Her and I both have been down that road.

Lately things have come to my attention and it has come from people who neither know me nor care about me. I don't mind. They are entitled to their opinion of me and that's fine. I will not participate in their need for drama or give them a reason to justify who they need to be. I know that I have not had the best of reactions when these people come around. That is something I have to rectify within myself. But I also know that my life will not depend on what they feel they need to think or do. My life is full of enough adventures with people who are worth it. "Beth" is one of the most amazing people I have ever known and loved. I could NEVER do the things to her that have been done to me and people I know. I have said things to her, just as malicious and cruel as I have said to others who come after me recently. But the difference between "Beth" and them is "Beth" knows when I am angry and am saying something out of that anger. She doesn't for one second believe that what I said sums me up as a person or dictates who I am. She knows everyone gets upset and says hurtful things. As she has said to me many times, "Sometimes you just need to get it out"... If anyone can understand that, I can.

I have no concern over the people how don't approve or care in the slightest about me or what I stand for. I take notice for the people who have stood by me and have created adventures of our own. "Beth" is a shining example of a life shared with someone. I have made some amazing new friends recently and I look forward to be able to have some of these adventures of our own. "Beth" is not only my best friend, but my sister. As much as I have taught her in life, she too, has taught me: In all things, there is a reason and a lesson. She reminds me that regardless of the situation, the only ones that matter at the end of the day are the ones you invite into your heart to share your life with. "Beth" is such a person. She will disagree, but she is my angel, my reason, my biggest fan, and I will always love her for it....

I reflect on these memories not just of "Beth" but on my interaction with people in general. I don't regret anything I have done and I have learned from my actions. My past will always be present in my life. I reflect on it to remind me of what I have been through, the people I have met along the way and the special loves I have been blessed and honored with in sharing my life with them and theirs with me.
